Just out of curiosity, if you were going to buy metals today, this very minute, what would you buy?

Depends on what you already own. Someone with no stack will want to build up American Eagles and Constitutional U S. Silver dimes, quarters and half dollars, and then branch into Morgan and Peace Dollars. Then look at 5 oz, 10 oz and kilo bars. I don't do 100 oz because the international monetary system recognizes and prefers gram and kilo to ounce system. You should like what you stack, and if you're an "old timer" collector, various graded coins to keep your passion about collecting going! Focusing on number of ounces is important at this stage of the game as opposed to collecting expensive coins in my opinion, but there will be a day that those with many, many ounces can buy super rare collectible coins, particularly early Americana, which would be my favorite to preserve. Divisibility is important now. Thanks for the question!
