Judy Shelton confirms what the people already know - that the Federal Reserve is BRIBING commercial banks and money market funds to park a record amount of cash, at record interest rates in a "risk free government account", which is making productivity even worse. She essentially says that trying to compare this Fed with the Fed of the Volcker days is simply not true. The government paid people not to work, now the Fed is paying banks not to lend! The real cost of capital is artificial and distorted, so expect interest rates to continue to rise!
