A statement from a Telegram user:
That Trump stock continues to crap out. I so regret buying it.
My response to Jim:
Jim, will you make it a learning lesson or dwell on my channel on what could have been? I never traded Digital World Acquisition Corp, I saw many did. I watched it with people like Nate Burruano who trade short term and many made a ton in the short term. I personally don't "trade" anymore, that is by choice. But I enjoy watching the spectators, and in fact, you can learn a whole lot more about long term investing by simply being that spectator of speculators! So some questions for you: why did you buy Digital Acquisition in the first place? A great rule of investing is if you like it at $100, surely you'll love it at $50 and even more at $30, no? Has anything changed in the business, such as revenues, customers, etc to change your position? Do you set stop losses to self-realize that you need to end a potential crappy investment strategy, be humble that your trade failed and move on to the next investment, or do you double down every time it goes down and/or sell a percentage if it goes up 3x, 5x, etc? Modus operandi: have a plan and then stick to it. You can set a limit on the upside too if it goes up and you're looking to exit a trade at a certain price. Another adage is if you are playing with the "houses money", you learn to be defensive with the investment, but you can also see clearer the more you become an astute investor! Or better yet, pretend you are managing a friends multi-million dollar portfolio! Does that mere proposition freak you out! For most, it should and many have no business trading or investing, at least in the current market. But everyone should be prepared and asking questions. So invest with a purpose and with an open mind to learn about the fundamentals and technicals, to learn about how the system operates in as simple a way that you can understand through online videos. More wisdom: please please please DO NOT open up a margin position without understanding all the risks fraught with margin investing!!! Now, if you happen to find yourself with a heaping pile of blessings with stocks or options trading, particularly if you used margin and are sitting on a small fortune that could change your life forever, your greed (ego) gives you temporary myopia, lest the savviest studiers of markets. So if you are in that kind of life changing position, settle a portion or all of your margin, put some aside for tax, and consider that your seed money to start the next chapter in your life. Most of the fleshly world regrets are of money, and relationships. The months and years ahead are going to be crazy; you have to see the opportunities, or listen to those voices that you think might just be on the pulse as to what is going on! God bless 🙏🏻🙌🏻
